THREE PIECE SMOOTH BIT

Lifter bits feature two different shanks, each with four different tips. The medium is 6" and the long is 8". This gives the rider many different options from which to choose. These bits are designed for all types of horses, from the light horse who needs help in the back to the hard rider who needs help stopping for the turn. 

These bits are designed to help you lift your horse's shoulder when turning, and then help him at the back of the bend. The riser also gives good elevation of your horse's front end while engaging the hindquarters for the turn. If you're struggling to get your horse to brake at the nape and gather for the barrel, this will help you achieve that goal.
