Product description

WESTERN RIDING MANUAL (French)

The Western Riding Apprenticeship Program is designed for riders of all ages and consists of 4 levels of certification, followed by basic training and 8 specialization components in three disciplines (western performance, gymkhana and reining). Basic training is a prerequisite for the specialized components.

This program provides a progressive introduction to equestrian technique and horse care in a safe environment. When the instructor or trainer feels that the student is ready to obtain his or her rider's license, he or she takes the theoretical and practical exam for the level concerned.

Only a licensed NCCP / Canada Equestrian certified instructor or coach in good standing is able to evaluate the student's certification. The rider must be a regular member of Cheval Québec to obtain his or her rider certification levels.

Each level includes a theoretical part and a practical part that must be passed to obtain the brevet de cavalier.
