In a stable, about five bags are needed after initial spreading in a medium-sized paddock. After that, we need to add a bag every seven days to replace soiled bedding. In contrast to wood shavings, the absorption capacity of LG Horse litter is considerably higher. The granules, which are made from softwood, can absorb up to twice their volume in liquid. Once saturated with liquid, they become a soaked grind that's easy to clean.
