SAFFLOWER
These fat- and protein-rich seeds are an excellent source of energy for wild birds. They are particularly popular with cardinals, and their scent has the added benefit of keeping squirrels and starlings away.
It requires no special feeders and can be used in any feeder in which sunflower seeds can be served.
