What's the difference between yellow and white saddle soap?
- Traditionally, yellow paste was used on saddles and tack, white paste on shoes and boots. That said, it was more for the consumer's peace of mind that no color is imparted to the leather from the yellow paste. Think of the bar of soap you use on your hands: sometimes it's white, sometimes yellow. Neither will transfer color, and both will clean and condition in the same way.
