Magnesium chloride flakes are the recommended product for dust control in horse riding arenas. It's safe for animals and vegetation, and won't dry out hoof leather.
It is also highly effective against frost, melting ice at temperatures as low as -25°C.
Magnesium chloride should be applied to level, slightly damp ground. It's best to apply in the evening, to allow the product to penetrate the soil.
