SUPERIOR QUALITY HEAT LAMP HOLDER
HEAT SOURCE
Heat lamps are used for chicks (& young chickens & young hens) who can't regulate their body temperature, and for sick or injured hens who need extra heat to recover.
For healthy adult hens, heat lamps are not necessarily a requirement / or need. Instead of using a heat lamp, make sure adult hens have a well-insulated and ventilated coop, with enough body heat from a large flock to stay warm in cold weather. Of course, a heat source may be necessary to combat humidity, or if your coop is very large and sparsely populated.
- Superior quality: 1 or 2 heat intensities
