Nutrience kitten milk replacer is carefully formulated to provide optimal nutrition for young kittens who still need mother's milk, such as weaning, rejected or orphaned kittens. In addition to getting your kitten off to a good start in life, Nutrience kitten milk replacer also provides a nutritional boost for adult cats who are convalescing, malnourished or nursing.
Growth: Perfectly balanced proteins for healthy muscular, skeletal and cerebral development.
Immunity: Formulated with bovine colostrum and coconut oil to support the immune system.
Digestion: Pre- and probiotics help your puppy maintain a healthy intestinal tract and absorb nutrients more efficiently.
1. Using the spoon provided, mix 2 ½ flat spoons of milk replacer with 4 spoons (60 ml) of warm water (60°C). Mix well for 30 seconds or until well incorporated.
2. Allow milk replacer to cool slightly, feeding at body temperature (38°C).
Reconstituted kitten milk replacer can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours in a clean, airtight container.
3. Use the feeding guide below, adjusting as necessary to the kitten's size and growth. Frequent feedings will prevent digestive disorders and provide the kitten(s) with a lasting source of energy. Regular weighing of the kitten(s) is a useful guide to ensure that sufficient milk is offered.
4. At 3 weeks, kittens can learn to drink from a saucer, and at 4 weeks, weaning can take place. To wean a kitten successfully, slowly reduce the amount of milk fed for 3 to 5 days, while offering wet kitten food.
Reconstituted kitten milk replacer can be mixed with wet food if the kitten is slow to wean or needs additional nutrition.
5. Fresh water should always be available for kittens.
