BEVEL BIT - DOUBLE CRIMP
The bevelled bit provides slight leverage, with a brass alloy pad to aid salivation. The ring is larger on the 5" and 5.5" so that the bit remains in proportion to the larger horse's head.
Mouthpiece thickness: 16 mm.
Cheek height: 55 mm (4.5", 5"), 70 mm (5.5").
Brass alloy mouthpiece: copper is alloyed with a harder metal to produce warm, durable mouthpieces that facilitate salivation. Stainless steel is used for cheeks because it is durable, easy to clean and rust-resistant.
